If you, like many other brides and grooms, have decided to get married in the fall you may perhaps be on the lookout for some attractive autumn wedding favors that will add the final touch to the occasion. Fall is indeed a great choice for having your wedding as the weather can actually be easier to cope with than it is in many places during summer. The latter half of the year can also offer some truly spectacular outdoor colors, giving your wedding a nice frame.

However, as part of the autumn wedding theme, you have made up your mind that a large barn would be the perfect spot for you and your party.

The barn itself is lovely, and the owners have even thought about wedding like functions when they designed the place. With the venue of the reception in the clear, you can now turn focus your efforts on finding the right autumn wedding favors. To do this, you need to contemplate how formal your wedding is going to be, as well as what your budget will allow.

A visit to the local craft store may for example show that you could make dolls out of corn husk, looking like the two central figures of the event - the bride and groom. Particularly if your wedding is of the more informal type, this would probably be a very suitable concept. You should also find that these aren't that difficult to make yourself, out of affordable and readily available materials.

On the other hand, if you would prefer to get something more fancy for your guests, you can approach the whole thing in a different manner. The reason for this is to have these standard components of any party fit the theme you have for your wedding favors.

When you think of the autumn and weddings, leaves are probably something that springs to mind. When it comes to the symbolism, hearts is of course another obvious choice. If you are on a shoestring budget, you can have a picture of you and the groom - looking beautiful in your dress and tuxedo - made into a keychain, complete with bits of autumn leaves made complete with a heart shaped frame.
